Robert J. Drake has been in the insurance industry for over 40 years. He was employed by Marsh & McLennan and Willis Caroon, the numbers one and four largest brokerage firms operating in the United States, respectively. While employed by these firms, Mr. Drake was the account executive for Timex Watch, Converse Inc., Schenley Industries and The New Haven Terminal, among others, representing millions of dollars in premiums, and peace of mind to the companies that he helped.

In 1995, he established the Robert J. Drake Insurance Agency. Over the past 10 years, his retention of clients ranks among the top of the industry (over 98%). This high renewal percentage is based on excellent service and the pursuit of competitive pricing. In 1997, he designed a special commercial property and casualty insurance program for the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. Today, Robert J. Drake services 72 Waldorf schools located in 32 states.
